Validation of stress assessment instruments related to the COVID-19 pandemic in pregnant women

Background: The Pandemic Related Pregnancy Stress Scale (PREPS) is an instrument that assesses pandemic-related stress in pregnant women. Objective: This study aimed to validate the Indonesian version of (PREPS). Methods: Validation procedures include forward and backward translation, pretest cognitive interview, construct validity test, reliability test. Pregnant women involved this agreed participate with informed consent. Results: results test showed each item PREPS questionnaire statement had rcount > rtable (α=0.01; df=28), starting from lowest 0.562 largest 0.847, value df = 28) equal 0.3610. Cronbach's alpha 0.841 indicates good scale. Conclusion: valid has reliability.
